Washington, GA – MRS. BOWDEN W. (ZABIA BROWN) BRIDGES, 57, died Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today in Phillips Mill Baptist Church with Rev. John King and Rev. W. L. Buffington officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Bridges was a native of Franklin County, GA, but lived in Wilkes County for the past 35 years. She was a member of Phillips Mill Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Frank Burnam of Washington, GA and Mrs. William McCord of Thomson, GA; 1 son, Charles Bridges of Greenwood, SC; 2 sisters, Mrs. Opal Brawner of Racine, WI and Mrs. Mildred Suprak of Toccoa, GA; 7 brothers, Edwin Brown, Ray Brown, Carl Brown and Willard Brown, all of Carnesville, GA, Melvin Brown of Lavonia, GA, Joe Brown of Commerce, GA and Bennie Brown of Toccoa, GA.
