Lisa Marie Nelsen was born June 4, 1975, the daughter of James Robert and Marilyn Kay (Wernimont) Nelsen in Storm Lake. She graduated from Sioux Central High School in Sioux Rapids in 1994. On June 22,1996 Lisa married Gregory LeRoy Sauter at the Methodist Church in Storm Lake. Lisa worked at McDonald's, Godfathers, Casey's west in Storm Lake, Casey's at Merrill, State Farm Insurance in Storm Lake, Real Estate Specialists in Storm Lake, and she assisted Greg who is the manager of the Pizza Ranch in Spencer for the last year and a half. She did volunteer work for Upper Des Moines, Girl Scouts, and 4-H. Lisa was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Storm Lake She enjoyed spending time with her daughters, animals - especially cats, swimming at the Aquatic Center in Spencer, bowling, shopping, and collecting calico kittens.
