Death of Mr. Doonan
Mr. James Doonan, a well known grocer and saloon keeper, died at his residence on Bedford street at 10 o’clock this morning. Mr. Doonan was taken ill last Saturday, and although everything was done that could be done, he died as above stated. The deceased was about fifty-five years of age and leaves surviving him a widow and two children — Miss Mary and Mr. James Doonan. The funeral will take place Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from St Patrick’s church. The interment will be in the cemetery connected with that church.
