Grannie passed away on January 31, 2014.

She was born August 14, 1916 in Bradfordsville, Kentucky to Henry and Lena Bright.

She married Roy Elmer Bobb on February 10, 1939 in Winslow, Arizona; later solemnized in the St. George Temple. She had three children, Luana (Pat) Shimmin, Ivan (Jubee) Bobb, and Daniel (Tomoko) Becker; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren, but her progeny and extended family goes beyond any imaginable number and she loved and cared about all of them very much.

Roy died in 1986. She married Cleon Wilcox on December 11, 1990, claiming at his passing "that was a 7 year love affair."

She travelled extensively and made lifelong friendships wherever she went. She was an active member of the LDS Church and had a strong testimony of her Savior, which she shared with everyone! She served faithfully in many callings which included extensive temple work and ten years at Welfare Square Dairy. She also served a mission in Snowflake, Arizona. She will truly be missed.

She was also preceded in death by Luana, Ivan, son-in-law, Pat Shimmin; grandson, Jesse; step-daughter, Verna Kunz; two brothers, and one sister. Survived by a brother, Parley (Marilyn) Bright.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Meetinghouse located at 1899 West 7600 South in West Jordan, with a viewing one hour prior. There will also be a viewing held on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City.
Interment: Farmington City Cemetery.
