Lewis "Bud" Reinholdt Hendricks, 89, of Edwardsville, KS died Friday, January 31, 2014 at Shawnee Mission Medical Ctr. Funeral Services will be 1 PM Friday, February 7 at the Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory 41st & State Avenue Kansas City, KS; burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Visitation with Masonic Services will be from 5-7 PM Thursday at the Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bonner Springs/ Edwardsville Kiwanis for the scholarship fund Bud was born March 19, 1924 in Wonewoc, Wisconsin. He was a Locomotive Engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad for 40 years retiring in 1986. He was an Army Air Corps WWII Veteran and a POW, a member of the Wy Co Memorial Chapter DAV #1, The American Legion, Kiwanis, Masonic Lodge #3, and Union Pacific Old Timers Club. Bud was preceded in death by his Wife: Marian Aldridge Hendricks, Parents: Reinholdt and Cecil Hendricks and 5 siblings. Survivors include: Daughters and Sons In-Law: Susan and Bob Miller, Debra and Jack Foster, Lora and Kevin Yowell, Grandchildren: Julie and Kelly Foster and a long time friend: Josephine Golubski.
