Found in The State 19 July 1970: William Paul Watson, 82, of 1300 Maple St. died Saturday in Providence Hospital. He was born in Pullens, Va., son of the late Charles Glover and Katherine Spinner Watson. He was in the real estate business, a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and was a veteran of World War 1. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie Dean Watson; three sisters, Mrs. Clarke W. McCants Sr., Mrs. Doris W. Greene and Mrs. Jay Zimmerman; and a brother, Robley S. Watson. Funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church by the Right Rev. Msgr. A. F. Kamler. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
