Bill was born to Letitia Garrett and George Dewey Blair on September 12, 1928 in Pittsylvania County. He married Ruby Margaret Salmons on June 30, 1950.
Bill is survived by his wife, Ruby; a son, Jack Blair; a daughter, Lavonne Blair Rutledge (Dewey); three grandsons. He was also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Gayle J. Blair, a sister, Lorraine Dunn, a brother, James Y. Blair.
Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
