Nancy Lee Blumette Maurer, 48, of Lower Burrell, formerly of Harmar, died Thursday (Sept. 9, 2004) at her home.

Born Nov. 23, 1955 in New Kensington, she lived in Harmar before moving to Lower Burrell.

She was a 1973 graduate of Springdale High School and attended Allegheny County Community College.

Mrs. Maurer enjoyed animals.

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, William S. Maurer Jr.; her mother, Margaret Blumette of Harmar; and two brothers, Richard (Clarice) Blumette of North Versailles and Robert (Denise) Blumette of Indiana Township.

Also surviving are a nephew, Sean Blumette; and a niece, Lisa (Robert) Blumette.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tony Blumette.

Friends and relatives may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME INC., family owned and operated, 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, where a service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Officiating will be the Rev. Daniel Carver, pastor of First Assembly of God of Greater New Kensington. Burial will follow in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
