Bobby Joe Phillips, 75, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Brandon, MS.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services, Morton, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no services at graveside. Rev. Baron Price and Rev. David Kile will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Bobby was born on July 7, 1946, in Laurel, MS to Samantha McKinley and Ira Richard Phillips. He lived in Taylorsville, MS in his early years and after marrying Linda Waggoner around 55 years ago, he moved to Morton, MS. Bobby enjoyed cooking and hosting people in his home, traveling, thrift and flea market shopping and gospel singings. He pastored and served as an evangelist in his earlier years. Bobby had the "gift of gab" and at times would give someone in need the shirt off his back.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Samantha and Ira Richard Phillips, five siblings and a grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Cynthia Register (Donnie) of Morton, MS, Rachel Phillips of Brandon, MS, Joseph Phillips (Anna) of Morton, MS and James Phillips of Morton, MS; siblings, R C Phillips of Lawrence, MS, David Phillips (JoAnn) of Polkville, MS, Annie Joyce Walters of AL, Ilena Phillips of Hattiesburg, MS; grandchildren, Zachary Stinson, Brittany Ogden, Destiny Hines, Hannah Phillips, Caleb Phillips, Haley Phillips and Heather Turner and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Phillips, James Phillips, Zachary Stinson, Caleb Phillips, Donnie Register, Jimmy Stinson, Tyler Ogden and Branden Hines.
