Barbara also helped the church with fundraisers, baking, working at church dinners, and other activities. Barbara was a member of the IUE Retirees, Local No. 717, Niles SCOPE, and the Slovenian Women's Club.

Her husband, Joseph W. Paulicivic Sr., whom she married Oct.11, 1941, passed away Jan. 17, 2000.
