Officiating, Rev. Randy Kelley, Rev. James Turner, Rev. Michael Thames.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Oris was a Randolph County native a retired brick mason and farmer. He was a WW II Army Sergeant where he received four Bronze Service Stars and a Purple Heart award. Oris was a survivor of the D-day Invasion and fought in the Battle of the Bulge alone with his brother Condon Carmac. He was married to Juanita Barker, December 22, 1945, for 62 years before she preceded him in death. Oris passed away on her birthday, what a glorious and happy celebration they are sharing. He was a life long member of Parks Crossroads Christian Church. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Kermit Carmac, James Carmac, Condon Carmac, Cletus Carmac, Harold Carmac and sisters Madge Craven, Ada Carmac. Oris loved celebrating events with his family and loved to joke with people. He will be remembered for his great humor and sitting on his front porch waiving at all of those that passed by.
Survivors: sons, Darrell Carmac, and fiance, Jennifer, Phillip Carmac, and wife, Karen, all of Ramseur, sister, Martitia Carmac Cox, of Winston Salem, Helen Lawson, and husband, Grady, brother, Buck Carmac, and wife, Karolyn, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Stephen Carmac, and wife, Susan, Anita Thames, and husband, Michael, Robert Carmac, and wife, Elizabeth, Crystal Wright, and husband, Steven, Chad Carmac, and wife, Melany, seven great grandchildren.
