Joanna, 88, of Hillsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at her home on January 26, 2014. She attended Resurrection School.
Joanna is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Mildred Forstner, first husband, William Doll; brother, Richard Forstner; sister, Jean Puffer; and son, Terry Townsend.
Joanna is survived by Danny Anderson of Hillsboro, Texas; daughter, Jill Townsend Doll of Arlington, Texas; son, Lee Townsend (Marilyn) of East Lansing; grandchildren, Brooke (Sean) Banks, Todd (Mary-Brook) Townsend, and Christian (Jennifer) Doll, great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Brody Banks.
Joanna will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.
A memorial service to celebrate Joanna's life was held June 7, 2014, Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel, East Lansing. Graveside service to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
