Obituary
The death of Francis Nicholas Therrio, a highly respected citizen of Annapolis Royal, occurred Tuesday morning, shortly after he was admitted to the Annapolis General Hospital as a result of a heart attack. He was born in Saulnierville 79 years ago, and had resided most of his life in Annapolis Royal, where he was the popular foreman of the section men on the Dominion Atlantic Railway. He retired 15 years ago. He was a devoted member of St Thomas' Roman Catholic Church. His wife, the former Miss Mary (Philemon) Therrio of Brooklyn, Yarmouth County, predeceased him; also 1 daughter, Flora. He leaves 2 sons: Melbourne and Ivan, and a daughter, Lena, Mrs Allison Cole, all of Annapolis Royal, and 5 grandchildren. The funeral was Thursday morning from St Thomas' Church, by Reverend Father Miller, with interment beside his wife in St Louis Cemetery.
