Mrs. Willis was a native of Laurens County. She was a supervisor at The Shamrock Pants Factory in Dublin for a number of years before moving to McIntyre where she worked as a Correction officer for the Department of Corrections in Milledgeville until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Willis and son, Phil Jump. She was an active member of the McIntyre Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Mike Jump of McIntyre and Lynn Mason (Joe) of Irwinton; step daughter Donna Thomason of Texas and daughter-in-law Yvonne Jump of Dublin; sisters, Virginia White of Helena and Brenda Dupree (Billy) of Irwinton; four grandchildren, Tania Mason Mitchell (Jonathan) of Smyrna, Joseph Mason (Tracie) of Greensboro, Chris Jump, Charleston, SC and Brittany Jump of McIntyre; three great-grandchildren, Isabella and Mia Scott, and Baylor Mitchell. Honorary grandchildren Brandi, Brian, Callie, Lexi, and Gracie and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
