Funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, at Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home, Council Bluffs. Burial will be in the Grange Cemetery, Honey Creek, Iowa.
Ann Leona Hough was born September 26, 1929, in Crescent, Iowa, the daughter of Ross and Lorene (Trede) Hough. She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with the class of 1946. She married Stanley Gardner on October 6, 1950. Together they farmed in Harrison County for many years. Stanley died on April 6, 2006. She was longtime member of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Richard (Linda) Gardner; one daughter, Betsy (Randal) Shipley; five grandchildren, Jeremy Wenninghoff, Ross (Charity) Gardner, Jill (Larry) Stover, Leanne (Christopher) Putnam, and Alex Shipley; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Betsy Seaton.
