Mrs. Shultz was born October 18, 1932 in Waco, Texas to Margaret (Kuhn) and Adolph Schorn, Sr., and died Thursday, January 30, 2014 in a Lufkin hospital.
A former resident of League City, Mrs. Shultz had resided in Woodville for 20 years. She retired from Clear Creek ISD in Webster where she was a Teacher's Aide. Mrs. Shultz enjoyed sitting on the porch watching all the wildlife along Woodstock Lane; especially seeing her family come up the lane, spending time with friends, working with stained glass, reading and working crossword puzzles. She was a charter member of Catholic Daughters, St. Michael's Chapter, and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Jasper.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Charles "Peanuts" Shultz of Woodville; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Andre Robicheaux of Dickinson; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles, Jr. "Chuck" and Barbara Shultz of Friendswood and Stephen and Sue Shultz of Shawnee, Oklahoma; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Adolph Schorn, Jr.
