Dylan Floyd Jacob Jones, 20, of Mt. Storm, WV died on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at home.
Born on August 27, 1993 in Oakland, he was the son of Craig Jones of Mt. Storm and Erika (Altman) Graham of Oakland and the stepson of Jeremy Graham of Oakland. He was a 2011 graduate of Union High School and following graduation he worked on his grandfather, Roy Jones' farm in Elk Garden, WV and for Jones Trucking, Inc.
Dylan was a member of the New Hope Church in Kitzmiller.
He enjoyed farming, diesel trucks, coon, bear and deer hunting, fishing, camping, truck pulling, four wheeler racing, and spending time with his friends on the Jones Farm.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister and brother, Brianna Jones of Mt. Storm and Wesley Jones of Ridgley, WV; stepsisters, Kennedi Carr of Accident, Brianna Graham and Emilee Graham, both of Mt. Lake Park; grandparents, Roy and Priscilla Jones of Elk Garden, James and Ramona Hanlin of Mt. Storm, Wylie Anderson of Kitzmiller, and Edward and Jeanette Altman of Cox, GA; aunts and uncles, Melissa Husa and husband Ron of AL, Will Anderson and wife Brandi of Kitzmiller, Jaime Hanlin of Mt. Storm, Holly Boone and husband Greg of Cox, GA, Jacqeline Altman of Darien, GA, Roy Jones, Jr. and wife Heather of Martinsburg, WV, David Jones and wife Tabitha of Elk Garden, and Melissa Jones of Elk Garden; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd "Buck" and Esther Jones, Foster and Beulah Paugh, Gladys and Raymond Waters, Velma Anderson, and Millard and Margaret Altman.
Friends will be received at the Loch Lynn Church of God, 8649 Gorman Rd., Oakland, on Monday, February 3rd from 5 to 9 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th from 10 to 11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor John Friend and Pastor James Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the Kalbaugh Cemetery, Jones Section, Elk Garden, WV.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dylan Jones Cancer Fund/Dollars for Dylan, c/o WEPCO Federal Credit Union, 12826 Garrett Hwy, Oakland, MD 21550.
