Landry, Michael H., of South Windsor, beloved husband of Linda (McKenna) Landry, died Friday, (March 14, 2008) at Hartford Hospital after a long illness. Born in Milo, ME on May 18, 1948, son of the late Clifford and Jane (Houston) Landry, he had lived in South Windsor for the last 36 years. Before retiring in 1996, he was employed by Southern New England Telephone Company (SNET) for many years. Mike was the divisional Vice-President of the Union of Telephone Workers, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and was a member of the South Windsor Gun Club. In addition to his wife, Linda, he leaves a son, Christopher Landry of South Windsor; a daughter, Sandra Deblois and husband, David of Bolton; his grandchildren, Kyle and Nicholas Deblois; a brother, Stephen Landry and wife, Nanette of South Windsor; nephews, Matthew Landry and wife, Nicole, and Bryan Landry and fiancee, Allison Piatek of New York City, NY; and his mother-in-law, Stacia McKenna of Windsor Locks. Among his many friends he leaves, Alan and Mary Lou Anderson, Richard and Cathy Anderson, Kathy and Richard Belden, and Domingo Vega. One of Michael's favorite sayings was, "I have places to go, people to see and songs to sing." Michael's love of life will live on through his generous gift of sight to the Connecticut Eye Bank
