Thelma M. Welch (nee Lackie)Of Channahon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home at the age of 86 years. Born in Lonoke, Arkansas the daughter of the late William and Lena Lackie.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Lloyd M. Welch. Loving mother of Lloyd Jr. (Karla) Welch, Iva (Bruce) Cook and Don (Sharon) Welch.
Thelma will be fondly remembered for her love and
dedication to family and friends. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Channahon and will be greatly missed by those who
knew and loved her. Funeral Service for Thelma M. Welch will begin at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 3, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Channahon located at 24455 W. Eames (Rt. 6).
