Mrs. Lucille Alice Purdy, a native of Minnesota, died in St. Francis Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Kayser Bullinger, she married Myron Charles Purdy in Red Wing, Minnesota on September 25, 1927. They moved to La Crosse in 1930. Mrs. Purdy had worked for Trane Co. starting during World War II. She had retired with twenty-five years of service with Trane. She was predeceased in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Myron; three daughters, a son, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral and burial will be in Catholic Cemetery of La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The family requests memorials to St. Francis Hospital Foundation.
