Married Benson Fearon Jones June 12, 1827. She had one child. Mother and child died in 1835, probably from difficulties of childbirth. They were buried in the family cemetery in Oxford, North Carolina. (Note: Original DoD believed to be 1828, as indicated on stone. Subsequent discovery of obituary in Raleigh Register 5/26/1835 reports 5/21/1835.)
Two of six whose remains were moved to Elmwood Cemetery July 29, 1925.
