Killed during the Cochecho massacre. Remains most likely still at the site of his garrison, which was burned to the ground. Many of the items (bones, Blacksmith tools, glasses, shoe buckles, etc) found at the Otis garrison site are on display at the Woodman Institute Museum located at 182 Central Avenue in Dover, New Hampshire.
