RAPER, KENNETH LEWIS - born June 16, 1949 to William and Lou Ella Raper, died at 8:45 p.m. on January 30, 2014 at his residence. He loved his relationship with the Lord and was a member of Callahan Road Baptist Church. Ken loved being "Anddaddy" to his grandchildren, was dedicated to his family and friends, enjoyed classic cars, and found happiness and satisfaction with his employment of UHaul Company for forty-five years. He lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mobile, Alabama, and New Orleans, LA, all where he had developed many friendships, whom he considered as family.

Preceded in death in addition to his parents, is a sister, Janey Raper Fluri; brother-in-law, David Fluri, Sr.; and brother, John D. Raper.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Lee Ann Mott Raper; children, Rachael LeeAnn Raper, Kristopher Lewis Raper, Kenneth L. Raper, and William D. Raper; grandchildren, Tre Warriner, Noah Raper, Grace Ella Raper, Kenneth, Kristina, and Kevin Raper, Sean, Emily, and Bradley Raper; brother, Dan Raper and wife Martha; niece and nephews, Jennifer Raper Kiser, Ross Raper, Zachary and Bailey Raper and David Fluri, Jr.

Following a private interment service at Eastview Memorial Gardens, a memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Callahan Road Baptist Church, officiated by Reverend Marc Sasser. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital , P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
