Rebecca Hoopes Myers, 94, of Normal, passed away at 5:32 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 30, 2014) at Heartland Healthcare Center, Normal.

She was born Nov. 9, 1919 in Chester County, Pennsylvania, a daughter of William Hannum and Sallie Amelia Thompson Hoopes. She married Russell John Myers Sr. on May 30, 1940 in Bloomington. He died June 15, 2003.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan (Richard) Wagner; a son, Russell (Justine) Myers Jr.; three grandsons; three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson, Luke Myers.
