Harold Edward Conner, age 83 of Wheatfield, IN passed away on October 25, 2013. He was born on March 28, 1930 in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to Edward and Lessie (Hayes) Conner. Harold proudly served in the United States Army. On December 2, 1949, in Crown Point, IN, Harold married Norma Wilson and she preceded him in death in 2003. Harold enjoyed being a Truck Driver and was employed with Ruan Transport and later worked for A&R Transport. Harold loved being around his family and was a loving Father and Grandfather. He loved people and never met a stranger. Harold also enjoyed gardening. Harold is survived by his daughter, Dory (Tim) Lovely of DeMotte, IN; and grandchildren: Mathew and Danielle; his son, Douglas (Nita) Conner; sister, Vivian Stanford of Alabama; and brother, Geloy Conner of Texas. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Jackson Funeral Service in Wheatfield, IN. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 immediately following the visitation at 1:00 PM with Vince Gray officiating at the Jackson Funeral Service in Wheatfield, IN.
