NOYES, Christopher - Born Aug. 12, 1942, St. Louis, MO Died Nov. 7, 2005, San Francisco, CA. Chris Noyes died suddenly and at home in the afternoon of November 7th, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Margareta Pernas Noyes; his sons, James Noyes McBeath, Anders and Erik Noyes; daughters-in-law, Kelly and Mimi; his grandchildren, Antony, Broderick, and Caelan Noyes, Jude McBeath, and twin Noyeses on the way. He was a brother of Nicolette Noyes; uncle to Kristina Noyes; granduncle to Sasha Noyes; and a friend and colleague to hundreds more around the world. Family and friends in England, Sweden, China and Canada will also miss him enormously. Chris was the cornerstone for so many people during his life, that one does not comprehend the breadth of that impact until times like this bring it into clear focus. He turned his misfortune with physical ailments, particularly his feet, into a great contribution to others because he was available to so many over the last several years of his life. He was available to all of us who needed him as a partner in life, father, grandfather and a stable, dependable friend and neighbor. This was a role that he enjoyed filling and in which he found great satisfaction. He was a sports fan, especially when the participants of the sports were his own children and grandchildren. He rarely missed a game and never missed giving encouragement. We will miss him on the sidelines, in the stands, and on the fields and will have to trust his spirit continues to cheer us all on in sports and in life. A Memorial Celebration will be held Dec. 4, 2005 at the Pedro Point Firehouse at 1227 Danmann Ave in Pacifica, CA, from 11:30 am - 3:30 pm for directions see www.pedropoint.org/location.htm.
