Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 PM, February 2, 2014 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Danny Dillard officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilcox was born March 13, 1932 in Wilkes County to William Harley and Nellie Mae Bishop Hutchens. Before retiring, she worked for American Drew Furniture.
She is survived by: three daughters, Doris Lavon Wilcox, Helen Juanita Wood and husband, Michael all of North Wilkesboro, Peggy Darlene Waddell of Wilkesboro; three sons, Danny Jerome Wilcox and wife, Carrie, Michael Henry Wilcox, Larry Wilcox all of North Wilkesboro; seven grandchildren, Donna Wilcox, Tammy Wilcox, Jessica Anderson, Jennifer Wood, Amanda Flinchum and husband, Keith, Kayla Wilcox, Steven Wilcox; one great-grandson, Landon Flinchum; one sister, Berneice Rhoades of Yadkinville; two brothers, Johnny Hutchens of North Wilkesboro, Billy Hutchens and wife, Coleen of Millers Creek.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
