Calvin B. Stone, 94, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2014.
He was born in Collbran, CO, and lived in Tucson, AZ, since 1936.
Cal is survived by his wife of 66 years, Selma. He is also survived by his four daughters, Francie (Pat) Riley, Joan (Nick) Franks, Paula Oswalt, and Jacqueline Nangle; and his three sons, Guy (Mary Lou) Stone, Andy Stone, and Jeff Stone. He always enjoyed being around his 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Cal was a proud World War II veteran who served in the US Army Air Corps.
He retired from Hughes Aircraft, but his real pleasure in life was working as a general contractor in the building of several homes in Tucson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bring's Broadway Chapel, Tucson, with the praying of a rosary at 6:30 p.m. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Tucson, on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
