Lois Halford Nikirk, 82, of North Richland Hills died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Funeral will be Saturday, February 1, at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with a private burial in Sunset Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Lois was born October 27, 1931 to R.L. and Myrtle (Thomas) Halford in Montague County, Texas. She married Roy Lee Nikirk on August 24, 1947 in Henrietta, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are daughter, Brenda Nikirk of Hurst; son, David Nikirk and wife Debbie of Livingston; 5 grandchildren, Bruce, Lee, Lonnie, David, and Melissa; 6 great grandchildren, Coty, Hayden, Mark, Elizabeth, Ronin, and Jesse James Nikirk; 4 sisters, Opal Morton, Wilma House, Jolu Rupel, and Sharon Walker; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Roy Lewis Nikirk; brothers R.L and J.D. Halford; and a sister, Mary Fain.
