Born July 3, 1884 in Barton County. he had
lived in this county all his life.
He married Martha Augusts Tammen June 11,
1911. She died in l955.
He was the last remaining charter member of
Trinity Lutheran Church Great Bend at the
time of his death.
Survivors: Daughters, Dolores Schneider, Mrs,
Lester Nuss and Mrs. Vernon Nuss. all of
Great Rend: son,Arthur, Preston: sisters,
Mrs. Enoch McCorkle. Madison: Mrs. Helen
Hans, Pratt; three grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a m. Tuesday, at the church:
Rev. Kenneth V. Behnken. Burial: Hillcrest
Memorial Cemetery. Family suggests
memorial to the Trinily Lutheran Memorial
in care of Cook and Weber Funeral Home Great Bend.
