POLKTON - Mrs. Lottie "Sue" Elizabeth Dellinger, 74, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe.

Services will be 11:00am Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Deep Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Phillips and Rev. Charles Cauthen officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Leavitt Funeral Home.

Sue was born September 9, 1939 in Anson County, N.C. a daughter of the late Paul Tyson and Blanche Elizabeth Carpenter Caudle.

She was retired from Brooks Food Group in Monroe and was a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 29 years, Bill Lee Dellinger of the home; her children, Charles Peale and wife, Donna of Mt. Solon, Va., Suzanne Strickler and husband, Mike of Elkton, Va., Vernon Peale and wife, Linda of Bridgewater, Va., Bobby Peale of Sunny Side, Ga., and William Dellinger of Staunton, Va.; her sisters, Annie Edwards of Marshville and Helen Taylor of Polkton; grandchildren, Mary P. Hedges and husband, Jared, Mark Peale, Cindy Peale and Katelyn Peale; step- grandchildren, Lindsey Swisher, Jared Dull and Greg Losh; step-great-grandchildren, Tiffany Losh, Ricky Losh, Anthony Avila, Nastasia Avila and Troy Dull; and her kitty companion, Sam.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, John, Keith, Joe, Larry, Sampson, Pete, Emmer and Jimmy Caudle and Rachel Hornback, Polly Underwood and Pearl Odom; daughter-in-law, Paulette Peale; and grandson, Anthony Peale.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deep Springs Baptist Church, c/o Cemetery Fund, 1908 Deep Springs Church Road, Peachland, N.C. 28133.
