Services for Mrs. Harper, 78, of Hidden Ridge Circle, Mt. Juliet, will be held at 1 PM Friday, July 22, 1994 at Miller-Schapmire Funeral Home in Hartford, Ky., with the Rev. John Shoulta officiating. Burial will be at Carson Cemetery in Hartford. Visitation is Thursday, after 3 PM at Miller-Schapmire. Mrs. Harper, a homemaker, died July 18, 1994 at 10:29 AM at University Medical Center, Lebanon, Tennessee of natural causes. She was born April 16, 1916 in Ohio County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charles Cosby and Nola McConnell Kimbley. She was a member of the Antioch Methodist Church and a former member of Equality Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gordon Harper in 1977. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Cary (Linda) Hill, Nortonville, Ky., and Mrs. Hiram (Ann) Oalin, Mt. Juliet; brother Kenneth Kimbley, Livingston, Texas; sisters, Nadean Garst, Livermore, Ky. and Maxine Dame, Calhoun, Ky.; and five grandchildren. Local arrangements by Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
