Lola Malissa Graham, 91, began her earthly life March 9, 1922 in Omaha, Arkansas, the daughter of John and Flora Hicks Wright. Her family moved to Missouri when she was a small child. She began her heavenly walk with her Lord and Savior November 24, 2013, at her daughter's home near Brixey, MO. She and Jess Graham were united in marriage July 19, 1941 in the Douglas County Courthouse and six children blessed this union.

Lola gave her heart to God at an early age. She lived her life for God, family and her church. She enjoyed taking care of her family and helping friends, especially cooking Sunday dinners for family and friends. She loved sharing wit friends how God was so good to her and had blessed her life. She enjoyed going to singings and revivals.

She frequently helped people who were sick. She baked beautiful cakes and delicious rolls for people as long as her health permitted. Lola was a devoted wife and companion to her husband Jess, especially during his illness.

Lola had many different jobs during her lifetime including working in a factory, a ten-cent store, a dairy queen, and Spaulding sporting goods. One of her interesting jobs in her younger years was working in the state of Washington at a peach factory. She is fondly remembered by many in the area for her twenty-two years as a cook at the Ava Schools before her retirement there. She also cleaned the Citizens Bank for seventeen years before her retirement there. She influenced the lives of many young children in the area as a babysitter. She was known as a hard worker.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Dale, four sisters, and three brothers, and one great grandson Russell Keith.

She is survived by four daughters and their husbands Wanda and David Worden, Shirley Messengale, Janice and Larry Unger, Carolyn and Jerry Hammond; one son and his wife, Sam Darrell and Sue Graham; daughter-in-law Pamela Graham, and foster son Gerald and Shirley Long, as well as twenty five grandchildren, seventy two great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Mae
Woolman. She will be deeply missed by a host of other relatives and friends. She was truly an inspiration to everyone who met her.
