She was born February 26, 1914, in Kaysville, a daughter of Robert Henry and Bessie Bell Smith Young.
She was a lifelong resident of Kaysville and attended Davis High School. She was a former member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 13, 1981. Interment was in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
