Leonard Ethridge Halbrook, 97, of Ripley died Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at Garner Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Halbrook was a retired pastor. He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and also a World War II United States Army Veteran.

The husband of Kathleen Halbrook, he is survived by 4 daughters Sherrol Smith of Mobile, AL and Gwendolyn Morris, Ramona Hendrix, and Constance Maharrey all of Ripley; 2 sons Robert Halbrook of Parsons and Paul Halbrook of Ripley, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
