Funeral service for Robert "Bob" Dumas, 79, of Decatur, will be Saturday, February 1, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Dr. Rob Jackson and Brother Brian Blass officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Dumas, who died Wednesday, January 29, 2014, at Tut Fann State Veteran's Home, He was born February 20, 1934, in Falkville, Al. to Guy and Ruby Dumas. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Decatur for over 50 years. He was retired from the Army after 30 years of service as an Accountant and Financial Manager for Department of Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister. Survivors include Wife Margie Dumas, of Decatur married 27 years; Son Steve (Beth) Dumas, of Arab; Daughter Lisa (Will) Scott, of Daphne, Al. three stepsons; one stepdaughter; 13 Grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
