Services for Peggy Ann Rogers Buntyn will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Robert Barham Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Robert Barham Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Buntyn, age 84, of Meridian, died peacefully Friday, January 24, 2014 at her home.

She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, and a past member and president of the Meridian Garden Club. She was also a member of Mockingbird Sam Camping Club. Peggy's passion was cooking and was a past winner of the Meridian Star Cooking Contest. She also loved gardening, traveling, bird watching, and people.

Survivors include her husband, David Buntyn of Meridian; daughters, Debra Joiner and husband, Richard of Russell Community, and Iwanna Barbee and husband, Bob of Flora, MS; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Cobb of Jackson, TN; step-children, Joe Buntyn and wife, Nancy of Chapin, SC, Cindy Addy of Collinsville, and Tony Buntyn and wife, Carol of Tampa, FL; eight step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; uncle, Herbert Neely and wife, Mildred; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Vera Neely Rogers.
