Mrs. Lora D. Porter

Mrs. Lora Dell Porter, 48-year-old Cadiz resident, died at her home early Sunday.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete this afternoon. The body is at Goodwin Funeral Home.

A native of Trigg County, Mrs. Porter was born Dec. 1, 1921, the daughter of the late Melvin and Alvie Mitchell Stephens.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Steven Kendrick, Hollywood, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Verbie Holland, Canton, and Mrs. Malcolm Cunningham, Trigg County; a brother, Gene T. Stephens, Cadiz; and a number of other relatives.

Services for Mrs. Lora Dell Porter, 48, of Cadiz, will be at 10am Wednesday at Goodwin Funeral Home.

The Rev. Marshall G. Mines will officiate, and burial will be in East End Cemetery.

Mrs. Porter died Sunday at her home.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Calhoun, Freddie Wilbar, Douglas Porter, Norris Wayne Parrent, Buddy and Scott Sivills.
