PANGBURN — Blanche Vernice Hutchins Myrick, 76, of Pangburn died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, in Searcy.

Born March 1, 1937, in Melbourne, she was the daughter of Lester and Audie Smith Hutchins. She was united in marriage to James Earl Myrick on June 5, 1957, in Harrison. She was a homemaker. She was of the Assembly of God faith and was a member of First Assembly of God in Pangburn.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years; two sons, Tim Myrick of White County and James Lester Myrick of Madison County; two daughters, Tammy Hathaway of Heber Springs and Jeana Cox of Letona; a brother, Lester Carl Hutchins of Rosebud; two sisters, Bonnie Davidson of Heber Springs and Jennie Haughaboo of Little Rock; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, Hayden Stark, Hannah Armes, Trever Myrick and Tonilynn Husky.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Verna Huffman.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Charles Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.

Pallbearers will be R.H. Smith, John Smith, Charles Smith, Toby Smith, Mark Smith and Dean Hutchins.
