Adelia Margaret was the daughter of Abraham V. and Sarah Sluyter Olmsted. In August 1870, she married Henry E. Loomis, who died in 1879. The Corning Journal reported in November 1880, "Simeon Hauber and Adelia Loomis, of Troupsburgh, were married." Simeon died in 1901 and she lived the rest of her life near her stepson, William H. Hauber.
