LeChase Sr., Raymond F. Brighton: November 22, 2008. At age 95. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Rachel; children, Raymond Wayne (Beverly), Gloria (James) Kiley, Eleanor (James) Johnson; grandchildren, Raymond F. (Eileen) LeChase, II, Jacqueline (Jerry) Frate, Rachel Kiley (Brian Monico), James Johnson, II; great-grandchildren, Raymond W., II, Leah Marie, Emilee Jean LeChase and Alexander Frate; sister-in-law, Evelyn DiCecco; brother-in-law, Dr. Pasquale (Catherine) Palumbo; many nieces and nephews and special friend, Anthony (Babe) DeMarco. Raymond has truly left his imprint on the city of Rochester. He built many of the cities landmarks. His selfless character and magnanimous spirit and generosity have touched the hearts of everyone he has ever met. His expressions and life lessons ("The squeaky wheel always gets the grease!") have and will inspire generations to come. The magnitude of his love and strength will be profoundly missed, but will be carried on in the hearts of his loved ones. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4, 7-9 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.) A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
