MADISON — William "Billy" Henry Yates, Jr., 68, of 1325 Whitts Road, died Friday, February 11, 2011, at Wesley Long Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Bethel United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Yates was born April 14, 1942, in Rockingham County, to the late William Henry and Iris Rilla Hodges Yates. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Billy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was an avid fisherman
