On September 2, 1979 at the First Christian Church in Knoxville, Iowa, Lori and Paul Joseph Ross were united in marriage. Lori and Paul were blessed with two children: Derek and Renee.
Lori cherished her friends and family above all. Organizing gatherings and parties to spend time with her favorite people gave her great joy and purpose. Lori was collector, and enjoyed surrounding herself with beautiful things. Her paperweights, giraffes, flamingo figures, and butterflies were displayed with pride and imbued her personality into her home. Lori loved going to auctions where she would see old friends and always make new ones. And at the end of the day she appreciated the simple pleasure of relaxing in her chair and catching up on her tv shows.
