James Rodger Carr is the son of Oliver Perry "Cap" and Imogene Williams Carr. James married Dorothy but it does not appear that they had any children.

James Roger Carr, age 78 of Fort Smith, AR died Friday, July 5, 2002 in a local hospital. He wa a retired selfemployed Poultry farmer.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of the home: three sisters, Orlene Boydston of Van Buren, AR, Sarah Krehbiel of Newton, KS, Wanda Louise Carr of Sedgewick, KS; a brother, Charles "Chock" Carr of Danville, AR; a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Monday, July 8, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at Earl Ladd Cemetery in Danville, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
