Jim's the son of John Hart Taylor and Lilly Arrowood. His older brother Stokes is interred at the Mountain Home National Cemetery. He was killed in action during the Battle of the Bulge while serving in the United States Army. Two other brothers: Ben and David both served in the United States Army during World War II.

Gravesite Details 10 August 1943 date on marker is Jim's declared date of death; one year and a day after being listed as missing in action.
