Madeleine is the daughter of Jean Émard/Aymard (1605-1631) and Marie Bineau (1604-1648). She was baptized in St-Andre. Madeleine married Zacharie Cloutier, Jr on 4 April 1648, in La Rochelle, France. They arrived in Quebec in 1648. They are the parents of the following (verified with PRDH):
1) Barbe (1650-1711) md (a) Charles Belanger and (b) Noel Gagnon
2) Rene (1651-1713) md Marie-Elisabeth Leblanc
3) Xainte (1653-1706) md Nicolas Goulet
4) Genevieve (1655-1725) md Joseph Guyon dit Dion
