Alison Lee Towry, 62, died Saturday, December 3, 2011. at home. She was born November 14, 1949, in Decatur to Allison F. Smith and Virginia Chapman Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.O. Smith and Mr. and Mrs. T.R. Chapman.
She was office manager for Edward Jones Investments. She was a former member of First United Methodist Church of Decatur and was currently a Lay Eucharistic Minister of Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal.
A memorial service will be announced.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Joseph R. Towry; and her mother, Virginia Smith of Decatur.
