Geraldine "Geri" Yeazle, 77, longtime Moses Lake resident passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Columbia Crest Care Center surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Geri's life will be held at Peninsula Community Church 2403 W Texas St. on Saturday, February 25th at 11:00 am. Geri was born on October 12, 1934 in Bradley, Oklahoma to Herman and Retta Corley. The family moved to the Wenatchee area in 1937 and then to Moses Lake in 1942. Geri graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1952 and from Big Bend Community College in 1990. She enjoyed cooking for her family, friends and at several local restaurants staring at Smitty's Pancake House which later became Perkins. She enjoyed selling Tupperware for several years and finished out her career at Asgrow Seed in Warden. Geri was an accomplished seamstress sewing many of the clothes, blankets and costumes for her children and grandchildren. She especially enjoyed traveling and camping with her close friends Jeanette Petty, Marlene Kramer and Jackie Yeley. They were known as "the four Musketeer's". Family was very important to Geri. She did so much with so little, providing her children with a rich and active childhood. Their friends were always welcome, enjoying swimming, family dinners, BBQ's and much more. Geri was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Geri is survived by one sister, Linda (Dick) McClellan and daughter, Darla Yeazle all of Moses Lake, WA; nine grandchildren, Rick Gill, Danny Gill, Blake Gill, Colin Gill, Jennifer Beeman, Mason Beeman, Terren Beeman, Justin Hindman, Ronnie Hindman; four great-grandchildren, Cooper, Aurora, Cyris and Olyviah. Geri was preceded in death by a son, Steve Gill.
