Funeral services for Alvis Duel Finley, 68, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Al Barton and Robert Finley officiating, with interment in Cullman Heritage Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Finley passed away Monday, Jan. 27, at his residence. He was born Nov. 4, 1945, in Cullman to Marvin Finley and Alberta Elms Finley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy Finley, Reaford Finley and Winford Finley; sisters, Irene Gann, Carol Gray and Annie Mae Landers; and a son-in-law, Johnny Rhoades.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Fortenberry Finley; two daughters, Virginia Rhoades and Priscilla Smith; eight grandchildren, Rocky Smith, April Smith, Rodney Smith, Zachary Smith, Shannon Ivey, Justin Rhoades, Bambi Bice and Isacc Bice; six great-grandchildren, Dawson Rhoades, Lillie Smith, Jasmine Bice, Ethan Bice, Zayne Bice and Zaxton Bice; and a son-in-law, Jeff Smith.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
