CANAJOHARIE — June Marie Monk, 8, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. William Monk, Jr., died at the home on Reed street at Fort Plain on Monday after an illness of a few days. Deceased was born in Root and for sometime resided with the family on the Canajoharie-Flat Creek highway on the Williams Farm. Private funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 2. Rev. Charles R. Hamilton, pastor of the Fort Plain Baptist church will officiate and Interment will be at Little Falls. Surviving are the parents; one sister, Joyce May Monk; two grandmothers, Mrs. Emma Monk and Mrs. Nellie Stafford and uncles, aunts and cousins.
